Welcome to the Mindfulness approach
We are all connected by our common desire to be happy, to achieve this we need to develop a stable mind that is not easily disturbed by external events. At the Mindfulness Approach we believe Mindfulness is much more than learning to relax or space out, to us Mindfulness is about waking up and being present in our life.
My life has been a series of wonderful experiences. It’s a pity I wasn’t there for most of them.
To achieve a more constant state of happiness we need to develop resilience, self acceptance and compassion. All our work is based on helping others to reach a place where they are quiet inside, so they can begin to experience life in the moment, without the stress of forward and backward thinking.
We tailor our services to the individual needs of our clients because there is no “one size fits all in life”, not even in Mindfulness.
How can we help?
Are you or anyone you know living with Cancer?
We have been working with Cancer support centres for several years, our clients include the Nightingale Support Centre, Cherry Lodge and North Middlesex Hospital.
Anna was fortunate to train with Trish Bartley at Bangor University to complete the specialised Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy for Cancer.
Are you looking for a way to address stress and well being in the workplace?
Mindfulness is known to promote a productive and healthy workplace, therefore reducing absence from work due to mental health problems, stress, anxiety and depression. We provide a cost effective service to employers, no off the shelf solution, we like to listen to what our client needs and provide a program to suit.
Stay in the present moment.
Take the time to appreciate the small things.
Benefit from a happier and more grounded you.
